1. Motorola Moto E:
Again a magical phone from Motorola. The Moto E has got everything you can expect at this price range, it even has additional features you can’t imagine at just Rs. 7,000. This is the best phone under 10,000 Rs. and yet it is cheaper by about 3,000 Rs. than other phones in this list. The Moto E runs on the latest Android 4.4.2 Kitkat and most important is that, Motorola has promised at least one update of the Android when a new version is released. It has a Dual Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 A7 processor clocked at at 1.2 GHz and is supported by 1 GB of RAM, the combination of which can handle most everyday needs, multitasking and gaming. The phone has a very good design which is similar to the Moto G. It has a 1980 mAh Li-Ion battery which can last all day. Its camera is not so great but come on…., you are not buying a phone at 7,000 Rs to click high resolution images. Additionally it has water resistance and smudge coating with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Sometimes, I wonder how Motorola manages to put so many things at such a low price. Overall, it is a perfect all round phone one should buy at this price range.

Xperia M is a good phone from Sony which was priced much higher earlier at around 14,000 Rs. At that price it was a bad buy but, it seems Sony has realized the mistake and its price has been significantly reduced at around 10,500 Rs. Its processor is not that big but with 1 GB of RAM at this price, it becomes a good choice with a good overall performance. Another speciality of this phone is as usual the amazing design and build quality of the phones. Sony Xperia M looks super sexy and it has stylish buttons and overall it feels pretty good in hands!
4. Nokia XL:
Many people were waiting eagerly for the release of the Nokia XL after its announcement and it was finally released in May. First of all, the phone looks absolutely beautiful with its solid design. Nokia XL is among the 3 devices which Nokia launched earlier this year running on Google’s Android OS. Although it runs on Android, you will find its User Interface much similar to the Windows Phone OS as, the Nokia XL runs on the forked version of Android, in which Nokia has redesigned the UI. The Nokia XL too doesn’t have the Google’s services like the Play Store but it has its own App Store which contains most popular Android Apps. Also, you can sideload other Android apps. Coming to its hardware, it has 1 GHz Dual Core processor with 768 MB RAM. With less powerful hardware also, it has decent performance. It has big screen with good display, the camera and battery life are also good.
5. HTC Desire 310:
The HTC Desire 310, which is launched recently is a good phone to have in pockets. The HTC Desire 310 features Android 4.2.2 . It comes with a smaller 512 MB RAM and with 4 GB of internal storage & it is expandable upto 32 GB via microSD. But, the lack of RAM is covered by the quad core processor, so the performance in managed. The HTC Desire 310 comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a VGA front-facing camera.
