5 Best Android Phones under 15000 Rs (January 2014)

by Rahul DubeyJanuary 2, 2014

It’s the beginning of the new year 2014 and what could be better than buying a new smartphone for you or your family but, buying the best is important. So here I write the latest list of 5 Best Android Phones under 15000 Rs. for the month of January. Read it and compare the phones and chose the best one for you.

And if you are a serious buyer then the top two phones in this list can be bought with closed eyes. These are the best specs in this range with the 5 inch screen.

#Buying Tip:

There are numerous sales and offers going on for new year. So, the online market is going very hot in the lowest price competition. Buying online can definitely save you some money. And no doubt Flipkart is best for Indian buyers.

1. Karbonn S7 Titanium:

Amazing phone, definitely the best buy for 15,000 Rs. The phone has 1.5 Ghz Quad core processor with 1 GB RAM and a full HD display. It has 13 MP camera which is good. If you have any doubt over this phone then the other best is Micromax Canvas Magnus.

Hi, the new Moto G (2nd Gen) is a much better choice than the Canvas HD Plus, it has better performance, best build quality and the graphics are also better. It’s a much better deal than the Canvas HD Plus.

        • February 16, 2014 at 2:09 pm

          Hello Basheer,

Go a hardcore gamer Moto G is the best. It runs most of the high end games very smoothly. But for it, you may have to compromise with the camera.

        February 22, 2014 at 10:21 am

        Hi Rahul,

M so confused to buy Moto g,because this brand is new in India and no one knows how it will be going to work. The specs of this mobile is so good no doubt. Please suggest me weather i should buy this or not?

        • February 22, 2014 at 1:37 pm

          Hello Mubarak,

Motorola is not new in India. The company went in a cool down and had withdrwan its services from many countries including India. It is now back in India again. Its true that it has limited service centers. But Lenovo buying Motorola creates a hope that Motorola services will be getting better in India as Lenovo is constantly expanding its hold in the Indian markets. Your concern is obvious, and for it, just checkout whether its service center is available in your city or not.

      • Kaushik
        February 23, 2014 at 4:18 pm

But Moto g has non removable battery. I’m a worried abt that. what after say 2-3 years? how to change battery?

      • Rahul Bokolia
        February 25, 2014 at 1:53 pm

But what about the Moto G is Lenovo take over Motorola in India
Isn’t it a risk of buying Moto G as there is no help will be provided by the company itself.

        • March 3, 2014 at 12:43 am

          Hello Rahul,

Your concern is obvious. But Lenovo is the company which is trying very hard to establish itself into Indian smartphone markets and they are doing a good job too. Also, Motorola was functional in India for many years in the past so they have service centres. And the company is ready to provide support to the Moto G as they are expanding their business in India and soon the Moto X will be launched in India. So they will provide support.

have you heard about the tragedy caused by micromax phones….. it blast and the person which had the phone blasts….so do you suggest wwhich company phone i should buy under 15k for gaming games like asphalt 8, modern kombat

    • February 7, 2014 at 1:43 am

      Hi eshaan,

Its not just that the phones of Micromax have blasted. Few days ago there was a news that a person’s Iphone got blasted in his pocket. It can’t be kept limited to any particular company.

The best phone under 15k is definitely Motorola Moto G.

    Hi
Being a windows mobile user i personlly suggst no to windows phone .,the main drawback is its applications.,most of the applicatns r not supporting in windws phones nd now a days people r crazy abut android mobiles due to its wide range of apps.,
i can give u an xmple in Lumia fb messngr r way 2 sms nothng is as user frndly as android apps nd mostly games also.,so i persnlly suggest no to windws

  • Raul
    January 31, 2014 at 9:43 pm

Aren’t you giving very biased answers? You can’t just say no to a windows phone without knowing the exact requirements & without giving any sufficient reasoning.

    • February 2, 2014 at 11:28 am

      Hi Raul,

This blog is to help buyers. When people ask me which is the best phone in _____ price range, they always want a great and the best phone. And comparing between Android & Windows phone, it is well known fact that the WIndows Mobile OS is not as good as Android. So while recommending the best phone, why should I recommend those phones to the buyers which are way below in the competition and are certainly not the best.

There is nothing like biasing. I give very honest opinions. I never try to favour a certain company. My efforts are always to recommend and salute the BEST technology.

HI rahul, my budget around 17K and i am confused whether to go for Samsung Grand, or Micromax Canvas Magnus or Nokia Lumia 720. My friends told me dat micromax canvas giving some sound problem when you hear songs…tell me the truth sir…

    • February 2, 2014 at 10:55 am

      Hi Manohar,

Among the 3 phones you have mentioned, Micromax Canvas Magnus is the best. It scores good in music playback in several benchmark tests. Also it has a good review everywhere. If your friends are facing some problems, it might be limited to that device only or may have arised due to mis-configuration.

    • February 2, 2014 at 10:24 am

      Hi Harsh,

Withink 16k, go with Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro. And Nexus 4 is a proven and an amazing phone, its price is 25k whereas, The Nexus 5 is the best phone of 2013 with amazing specifications at just 28,000 Rs. So it will be better to grab the latest Nexus device by spending additional 3,000 Rs.

      1. Micromax A250 Canvas Turbo
      2. iberry Auxus Nuclea N1

i don’t see any lenovo phones in your sugesstions nor in your survey of best smartphones under 15000/- why?

    • January 3, 2014 at 5:09 pm

Hello Rohan, the reason is, the list is of only 5 phones and Lenovo phones might not offer best value in that specific range. I am also fan of some Lenovo phones, the brand offers best battery backup.
