I have written the latest list of 5 Best Android Phones under 20000 Rs. for the month of May. Read it and compare the phones and choose the best one for you.

This is really the most competitive price range for smartphones. There are some amazing phones out there which could not make into the top 5 but are very good. All the phones in this list are above 19,000 Rs. So if you want a  phone around 17,000 then, Sony Xperia SP is the best. At the range of 16,000 Rs. if you need a high performing phone which can handle gaming too, go with Xolo Q3000 and if you want a phone with latest Android Kitkat and good overall performance with good design, go with LG L90 Dual.

Last month hundreds of readers of this blog had commented and asked which phone they should choose among the crowded market. Which has made me better understand the requirements and view point of the buyers. So I am trying to make this list even easier for you by giving you appropriate information. You are always welcome to ask your queries.

So check out the list of 5 Best Android Phones under 20000 Rs.

#Buying Tip:

There are some amazing offers and discounts available in many categories on Flipkart, the no. 1 shopping site in India. Buying your Smartphones, Laptops and other gadgets online can be a wise decision as buying online can definitely save you some money. And no doubt Flipkart is best for Indian buyers.

1. Samsung Galaxy Grand 2:

Launched in January, this is the best phone around 20,000 Rs. It is a mix of good performance with the trust of a reliable and popular international brand with good service. After the success of Grand, Samsung has launched it with grand size of 5.25 inches and a 1.2 GHz Quad core processor unlike Grand. It has definitely repeated the success of Grand. It has got overall very good specs. If you want a good phone with normal usage like everyday calling, gaming, music, videos, etc then this is the best phone to have.

 2. Sony Xperia M2 Dual:

It was the much awaited phone of Sony. It has amazing looks and a decent solid design. Sony has launched it at a price very close to the very popular Xperia SP. Although one can debate over which one has got better specs among the two but a bigger screen and the recent launch makes the M2 a good choice. Many people do not like the Samsung phones for them and for those who want an amazing design this phone is best. It has got a very good camera and good performance. It has got most of the things which one aspires for with a stunning design.

Although, at 20,000 Rs. you can get the phones with very high performance  unlike the above two phones. Lets start with the Micromax Canvas Knight. This latest flagship device from Micromax offers every high end specifications at less than half of the price of what Samsung, Sony & HTC offer. But don’t just flow away with the specs, its performance is very good but it has small issues like the big 16 MP could have been better, some users are facing a problem that it gets heated up quickly while playing games and the battery life is average. Although it has some issues but it is certainly the best phone in overall comparison as it offers everything at a cheaper price. Those who want high performance with their smartphone, must go with the Knight!

What about Nokia lumia 1320? I like Windows phone..! What are all the negative feed back about this phone? Is it good to buy?

    • May 29, 2014 at 11:15 am

Hi, it is a very good phone. The only cons of the phone are it isn’t android and the screen size is very big, the phone feels bulky. Having said that, the phone is really very good and if you want a big screen then its great. You can go for it.

    HI RAHUL,

Please confirm me which phone is the best moto g or xolo q3000 …

    • May 27, 2014 at 12:58 pm

Hi, both the phones satisfy very different needs, if you want a very good phone with best user experience go for Moto G. But if you want bigger scrren and bigger hardware go for the Xolo Q 3000.

    • May 27, 2014 at 11:55 am

Hi, its a good phone, but its not recommended to go with blackberry, its a dying ecosystem. Instead go with Android, you will feel more power in your hand and will experience latest technologies.

    Hi Rahul

I stay in Bangalore. I’m planning to buy Lenovo S960(VIBE X). Its priced at around 20K. I walked to the store to see the looks and specs and I liked the looks and the feel of the phone. Could you please suggest, what are the Pro’s n Cons associated with this phone, compared to other phones like similar price, features, Service Centers ? I’m bit skeptical about the 2000mah Battery and Services.. In short, do you suggest for this buy? or suggest for some other good mobile phone(may be Samsung) within this range.?

    • May 27, 2014 at 11:52 am

Hi, the phone is very good. It has the best display the virtue of extremely high pixel density (441 ppi), it has a very good performance. The only thing you need to be careful about is the 16 GB internal memory which is unexpandable. You can go with the phone, its a good buy with a good service.

hey I want a good phone below 20k ,and after reading your review , i decided to go for grand2 …. but , are you sure it’s battery performance is good enough for running it the whole day with normal usage ??? and what about the camera ?? is the camera capable of clicking full hd quality graphic intensive picture ??? specs are not always the deciding factor for a ‘smartphone’ , user experience is above all …….

    • May 26, 2014 at 11:29 pm

      Hi,

You truly said that user experience is most important and in this case, the Grand 2 is the best option. The battery will serve you good with normal usage and yes the camera is capable and good enough.

    • May 24, 2014 at 10:20 pm

Hi, this is the ranking of best phones. The phone at the first position is the best phone in the range to be bought so, you get to know the best phones and decide which phone best suits to your needs. You can go with Grand 2.
