On the hardware front, the Apple Watch 38 mm has 1.5 inch of AMOLED display with screen resolution of 340 x 272 pixels, and is backed by 205 mAh Li-lon battery. The Aluminum built watch measures 38.6 x 33.3 x 10.5 mm and weighs 62 g. Whereas, the Apple Watch 42 mm has 1.65 inch of AMOLED display with screen resolution of 390 x 312 pixels, and is backed by 250 mAh Li-lon battery. The Stainless Steel built watch measures 42 x 35.9 x 10.5 mm and weighs 50 g. The Apple Watch has Apple S1 processor coupled with 512 MB RAM and 8 GB internal memory. It runs on watchOS 2.0 which also allows native apps for the Watch.

Connectivity options on the watch include, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0 and NFC (for Apple pay). It does not have cellular connectivity although, it has built-in microphone and speaker and can be used to receive or make calls when connected with an iPhone. 2. Samsung Gear S2:

The Samsung Gear S2 which was released in October 2015, comes in three variants: Samsung Gear S2, Gear S2 Classic and Gear S2 3G, though the Gear S2 3G variant is currently not available in India. The Gear S2 comes in White and Black color variants while the Gear S2 Classic comes in Black, Platinum Plated and 18K Rose Gold plated variants.

The Samsung Gear S2 sports a 1.2 inches of Super AMOLED screen with resolutions of 360 X 360 pixels and pixel density of 302 ppi, that results for best smartwatch display. It is powered by dual-core Exynos 3250 processor coupled with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of internal storage space. It runs on Tizen-based wearable platform and is packed with a 250 mAh battery. At IFA 2015, Motorola introduced the Moto 360 (2nd Gen) smartwatch, a successor to the first Motorola smartwatch and one of the most successful smartwatches, the Moto 360. The Moto 360 (2nd Gen) smartwatch comes in two sizes 42 mm and 46 mm. Motorola has defined their smartwatches separately for Men and Women. For Men, both the sizes of smartwatches are available with different bands, whereas for Women only the 42 mm size with Blush leather band and metal band is available.

The Moto 360 (2nd Gen) 42 mm features a 1.37 inches of IPS LCD screen with resolution of 360 X 325 pixels, and is backed by a 300 mAh battery. Whereas the 46 mm sized smartwatch has 1.56 inches IPS LCD screen with resolution of 360 X 330 pixels, and is backed by a 400 mAh battery. The LG Watch Urbane W150 is probably one of the most good-looking smartwatches in this list. It is offered in silver and gold color variants with stitched leather straps.

It sports a 1.3 inches of P-OLED display with screen resolution of 320 X 320 pixels and pixel density of 245 ppi. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU coupled with Adreno 305 GPU and 512 MB RAM. It comes with 4 GB internal storage and runs on Android Wear OS.

The Asus ZenWatch 2 is the cheapest smartwatch of all the above, but it can still give a run for money to others. It comes in two sizes, one with 1.45 inch screen (WI502Q) the other with 1.63 inch screen (WI501Q). The rectangular shaped watch has stainless steel body and comes with two types of bands: Rubber strap and Leather strap. It is offered in Gunmetal, Silver and Rose gold color variants.

The Asus ZenWatch 2 WI501Q sports a 1.63 inch of AMOLED screen with resolution of 320 X 320 pixels and is backed by 400 mAh Li-ion battery and has thickness of 10.9mm.
