Asus ZenFone Go 5.5 with 13MP rear camera and 5.5-inches screen launched in India at Rs. 8,499
Asus has launched a new budget smartphone under its ‘Go’ series, dubbed as ‘ZenFone Go 5.5’ in India. The smartphone highlights its elegant arc-design along with a 5.5-inches HD display. The device is priced at Rs. 8,499 and is exclusively available for sale on Amazon India. The Asus ZenFone G0 5.5 comes in Charcoal Black and Sheer Gold colour variants.
The specifications of the smartphone include a 5.5 inch HD IPS display as mentioned earlier and has got a quad core Qualcomm 8196 processor under the hood. The device comes with 2 GB RAM coupled with 16 GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The Asus ZenFone Go 5.5 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ZenUI 3.0 on top.
Coming towards the optics department, the smartphone comes with a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a Dual-tone LED flash. There’s also a 5 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture lens for better low light selfies. The camera of the ZenFone Go 5.5 comes embedded with company’s own PixelMaster 3.0 app that sums up exciting camera features like Back Light (HDR) Mode, Low Light Mode, Manual Mode (for accurate image quality), Real Time Beautification Mode, Super Resolution Mode (for up to 4X resolution photos) etc.

For connectivity, there is 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio. The onboard sensors of the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and proximity sensor. The ZenFone Go 5.5 packs a 3,000 mAh battery for its powering and measures 153.4 x 76.44 x 10.95 mm along with 168 grams of weight.
