Coolpad Note 3 Plus with 5.5 inch Full HD display, fingerprint sensor launched at Rs. 8,999

As promised, Coolpad has launched a new smartphone, dubbed as Coolpad Note 3 Plus, in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will be exclusively available via Amazon India starting from May 13th.

The Coolpad Note 3 Plus is almost similar to its predecessor, except the display quality and perhaps it could also be one of the reasons for the price cut on Note 3, which it received two days ago. Anyways, the Note 3 Plus now features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 X 1080 pixels) display rather than HD display like its old variant. It is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM along with 16 GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 64GB. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Cool UI on top.

The Note 3 Plus sports a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 5 Element HD Lens, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed by the same 3000mAh battery and bears a fingerprint sensor at the back. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio.

The Coolpad Note 3 Plus measures 151 x 77 x 9.3mm, and weighs slightly more than the Note 3 at 168 grams. The company is also expected to launch a new device on May 20th.
