Facebook mobile users increases than desktop users for first time

For the first time, the number of active users on Facebook Mobile has become greater than Facebook’s Desktop version. According to the latest results declared, there are overall 1.06 billion active Facebook users in the world. Out of those, 618 million of them are visiting daily and 157 million are doing it from mobile devices.

Facebook has put its focus on mobile more, its Android & iOS apps were among the most used apps in 2012.

“In 2012, we connected over a billion people and became a mobile company,” said Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg in a statement announcing the fourth-quarter results.

These are great results for Facebook which earns its majority revenue, almost 84% from advertisement because, there is a large boom in the mobile advertising business.
