Gionee to launch its ‘Selfie Focused’ smartphone in India on August 22nd

Gionee has announced an event on August 22nd, where the company will be launching its selfie focused smartphone.

Gionee has already sent out the media invites for the event which mentioned #SelfieWithFlash, hinting towards the selfie-focused smartphone but it doesn’t reveal any specifications of the phone. Nevertheless, some report suggests that the company could launch the Gionee S6s smartphone which is almost similar to S6 Pro, that was recently launched in China. And being the selfie focussed smartphone, the S6s is expected to sport an 8MP front camera with LED flash, along with the 13-megapixel rear camera. The smartphone is expected to be priced around at Rs. 10,000.
