Gionee Marathon M5 Plus with 6 inch FHD display and 5020mAh battery launched
Gionee has launched a new smartphone, dubbed as Gionee Marathon M5 Plus in India. The all metal unibody smartphone will be priced at Rs. 26,999 and will go on sale from 28th April.
The Gionee Marathon M5 Plus flaunts a 6 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by 1.3 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor, coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB RAM. It bears 64 GB internal memory, which is further expandable with microSD. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo UI 3.1 on top.
The USP of Marathon M5 Plus is its massive 5020mAh battery with fast charging. It also sports 13 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and 5 megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone includes fingerprint sensor and offers connectivity options like 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and USB Type-C.
The Gionee marathon M5 Plus measures 160.9 x 81.2 x 8.4mm and weighs 208 g. It comes in Champagne Gold and Polar Gold color variants.
