HP introduces Special Star Wars Edition 15.6 inch Laptop In India

HP has launched a new laptop on Wednesday which is a Star Wars Special Edition notebook for the fans of forthcoming movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The laptop comes specially designed with the custom art of the movie containing the attractive dark-side combination of black and red all over the entire chassis.

The Star Wars Special Edition notebook features a 15.6 inch FullHD (1920×1080 pixel) LED Backlit display coming with optional touchscreen. It is powered by the latest 2.3GHz (with Turbo Boost up to 2.8GHz) Intel Core i5-6200u chipset with 3MB Smartcache alongside inheriting an 8GB RAM with 1TB SATA storage. HP Star Wars Special Edition notebook has a 4-cell Lithium-Ion battery that company claims to offer a 7 hours of battery life and for graphics it boasts a 2GB NVIDIA GeForce 940M card to allow you a good gaming experience.


For connectivity it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, 1xVGA, 1xHDMI, 2xUSB3.0 and 1xUSB2.0 port with it also sports an HP TrueVision HD Web Camera. The laptop weighs around 2.29kg and offers dual speakers from Bang & Olufsen.

The notebook comes loaded with Star Wars history with the themes, just by clicking on the Imperial Cog Desktop Icon, you will be taken to the command center of Star Wars for viewing the special edition themes and galleries. The content goes over 1,100 images comprising the all 40 year history of Star Wars ranging from images, storyboards to audio selections and many more.

Star Wars Special Edition Notebook is priced at Rs. 73,000 and will be available for purchasing from 20th November.
