Last month, HTC unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone called the Desire 620 in Taiwan. While it is still to officially launch the smartphone in India, its new variant HTC Desire 620G  has been listed on Snapdeal with a price tag of Rs 15,900.

The HTC Desire 620G went on sale in Taiwan last month in both single SIM and dual SIM variants. The phone was priced approximately at Rs. 14,000 for the dual SIM variant in Taiwan and the pricing in India is almost close to it.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Desire 620G sports a 5-inch HD display with a Resolution of (1280 x 720) pixels, and is powered by a 1.7GHz MediaTek octa-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Also included is 8GB internal storage that can be further expanded using a microSD card upto 32GB.

The smartphone also features an 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2,100mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Comparing with the earlier variant of this smartphone – “Desire 620”, which supports 4G LTE and External Storage upto 128GB with a quad-core 1.2GHz processor, this Desire 620G is on a little backfoot with less external memory storage and connectivity. However, the remaining features of both Desire Smartphones are identical. Notably, Desire 620 is yet to launch in India.

Overall, HTC desire 620G seems to be a good mid-range Smartphone with adequate features. It is now available online on e-commerce websites like Snapdeal and Flipkart.

However, there are no words from the company on launch of 4G variant of this smartphone. Though We will keep you updated with any news regarding its launch.
