LeEco Le Pro 3 AI Edition with ‘LeLe’ virtual assistant and dual 13 MP cameras launched

LeEco, inspite of not doing very well in recent times has stepped up and is trying to make a statement with the launch of its latest smartphone dubbed as Le Pro 3 AI Edition. Highlight of this smartphone is that, it comes with company’s own virtual assistant named ‘LeLe’ and also bears a dual camera set-up. The smartphone is launched in two variants, differentiated by the processor and internal storage. The lower variant is priced at CYN 1,799 (Rs. 16,884 approx) and the higher variant is priced at CYN 2,399 (Rs. 22,515 approx).

The LeLe Virtual Assistant that is highlighted the most, is essentially LeEco’s version of other voice based assistants such as Siri, Google Assistant, Samsung Bixby, Cortana and more. As per the company, LeLe will learn user information and practices and will get more appropriate and helpful with time. Also, the AI can be activated even when the screen is off. It will be most probably integrated with all of LeEco’s front line apps.

The Le Pro 3 AI Edition comes with a 5.5 inch Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) display with 403 ppi pixel density. The lower variant has got a MediaTek Helio X23 processor under the hood with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage where as the higher variant is powered by a MediaTek Helio X27 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based EUI.

The imaging department includes a Dual camera setup at the rear with both 13 MP f/2.0 aperture sensors, coupled with PDAF and dual LED flash. There’s also an 8MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture lens. For connectivity, there is Dual sim support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and Infrared sensor. The device sports a massive 4,000 mAh battery to power itself.

Design wise, the Le Pro 3 AI Edition holds an all metal body with a fingerprint scanner mounted at the back. The smartphone comes in various color options, out of which Rose Gold and Matte Black are premium color options. The phone measures 152.4 x 75.1 x 7.5mm and weighs 168 grams.

As of now, the smartphone is only available in China and there is no news what so ever about its availability in India or other markets.
