LeEco Le Pro 3 with Snapdragon 821 SoC and 6 GB RAM launched in China
The Chinese handset maker LeEco has finally unwrapped its latest flagship smartphone – ‘LeEco Le Pro 3’ at an event in China. The smartphone can be pre-ordered from today itself but the flash sale will start from September 28 in China. It comes in Gold, Grey, and Silver colour variants.
The Le Pro 3 comes in two variants, 4 GB RAM model with 32 GB inbuilt storage which is priced at 1,799 Yuan (approx. Rs 18,073) and 6 GB RAM model with 64 GB inbuilt storage which is priced at 1,999 Yuan (approx. Rs 20,083). Two Zhang Yimou editions of LeEco Le Pro 3 were also announced, which are named after the famous Chinese filmmaker. The 4 GB RAM variant with 64 GB internal storage is priced at 2,499 Yuan (approx. Rs 25,100) while the 6 GB RAM variant with 128 GB internal storage comes at 2,999 Yuan (approx. Rs 30,100). The smartphone lacks the expandable storage option.

The LeEco Le Pro 3 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It is powered by a 2.35 GHz quad core Snapdragon 821 processor and Adreno 530 GPU. The Le Pro 3 features unibody metal design and comes with fingerprint sensor located at its rear panel.
The smartphone packs a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash, Sony IMX298 sensor, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture. For selfies, it comes with an 8-megapixel front camera with 1.4um pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, 76.5-degree wide-angle lens. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EUI 5.8 on top.
The dual-sim device is backed by a 4070 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology which is said to offer 3 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes of charging using 24W fast charger. It comes with dual stereo speakers with one placed on the bottom edge, and the other integrated into the earpiece. For connectivity, the LeEco Le Pro 3 offers 4G with VoLTE, WiFi, GPS/AGPS + GLONASS, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and USB Type C.
