Lenovo CG Slate tablet for kids launched at Rs. 8,499
Lenovo has partnered with educational technology company ConveGenius and has launched the Lenovo CG Slate tablet for Indian kids. The edutainment (Education and Entertainment) tablet is priced at Rs. 8,499, however, the first 1000 tablets will be available at a discounted price of Rs. 7,499 exclusively from Flipkart.
The Lenovo CG Slate features a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8127 processor, paired with Mali-450 GPU and 1GB RAM. It offers 8GB of internal memory, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
It also packs a 2-megapixel rear camera and 0.3-megapixel (VGA) camera. It is backed by a 3450mAh battery and offers connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and micro USB. It has inbuilt feature like learn zone which helps to learn about various subjects through video stories, digital books, worksheets, etc. It also has Play Zone with exciting cartoons, movies,and games.
