The LG Max is a new device from LG launched in July. The design of the phone has nothing to boast of & the build quality is average. The good thing about the phone is that, it comes with the latest Android v5.1.1 Lollipop. It runs on the 1.3 GHz Quad Core Processor coupled with 1 GB RAM, you should not expect high performance from it. It has a 5.0 inches display with just 480 x 854 pixels screen resolution, which is bad for a 5 inches phone.

The phone has a 8 MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5 MP front camera with soft selfie flash as well. Both the cameras are good, the selfie camera also comes with Gesture Shot, which makes clicking selfies fun. The phone comes with LG's Knock On™ & Knock Code features, which are a delight.

It has 8 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 32 GB. It supports dual sim, but misses out on 4G. The 2540 mAh Li-Ion battery gives good battery life to the phone.

Overall, LG always had a great potential for producing great devices, see the LG G4 but their approach in the budget segment is lacklustre, which is evident with the LG Max, it surely packs some decent features but on the other hand, misses out on some important hardware.
