LG V20 with Android 7.0 to launch on September 6th

LG has scheduled an event to unveil the LG V20 smartphone, successor to the LG V10 on September 6th. The company has sent out media invites for the event that will take place in San Francisco, USA.

The invite shows a pop-up book with phrase Play more without giving any hints about the smartphone. The company has already confirmed that V20 will run Android 7.0 Nougat, making it one of the first phones from OEMs to run the latest version of Android and that the V20 builds upon the premium and rich multimedia smartphone experience of last year’s LG V10.

“We are excited to offer the first phone in the world to feature Nougat out of the box. The LG V20 upgrades and extends its predecessor’s cutting-edge multimedia features a step further, providing distinctive mobile experience and sets a new standard for premium phones for consumers.”

–  Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics and Mobile Communications Company.

The LG V20 is expected to feature the top-end specifications. We should know all the details about the smartphone at the launch event.
