Micromax Unite 3 With Android Lollipop Listed Online at Rs. 6,569

Micromax has quietly listed its latest smartphone from Unite series – the “Micromax Unite 3” which is the successor of popular Micromax Unite 2 launched last year. Micromax Unite 3 is listed online on the official website of company and on online retailer Infibeam at a price tag of Rs. 6,569. At the moment, the available shipping time for the smartphone is 1 to 2 days, however the official launch of this smartphone is expected soon.

Micromax Unite 3 will be a new entry in the list of competitive budget smartphones. Micromax will be facing stiff competition from popular brands like Lenovo, Motorola, Xiaomi and many domestic brands. Micromax Unite 3 is a feature-packed device offering great performance at a very low price.

The Unite 3 is a Dual-Sim smartphone featuring 4.7-inch WVGA IPS display having resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. This Micromax smartphone is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor which is coupled with 1 GB of RAM. Highlighting feature of Unite 3 is Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box.

It sports an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash, and a secondary 2-megapixel fixed-focus front camera also on board. The internal storage of the phone is 8 GB which is expandable up to 32 GB via Micro SD card. The smartphone packs a 2000 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 220 hours of standby time.

Micromax Unite 3 will be available in two colors – White and Blue. Given that the phone packs some good and adequate features which are capable of giving a good performance, this could be a good choice for this price point. At present, the sale of this smartphone is limited but after its official launch we can expect hike in the sale and demand of this affordable smartphone.
