Microsoft Lumia 640 XL LTE Dual-Sim launched in India at Rs. 17,399

Microsoft showcased the Lumia 640 XL LTE Dual SIM at Mobile World Congress 2015 alongside the Lumia 640 Dual SIM and Lumia 640 XL Dual Sim, the company released these two devices in April for but, the Lumia 640 XL LTE remained under the wraps. Now, it has released the Microsoft Lumia 640 XL LTE Dual SIM in the Indian market for Rs. 17,399.

The device is similar in looks to rest of the devices available in the Lumia 640 series, but the 4G LTE connectivity and support for Indian LTE Bands makes it distinctive.

Speaking of the specifications, the device comes with a 5.7 HD (720×1280 pixels) screen with a pixel density of 259 ppi, protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and getting its power from 1.2GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with an internal storage of 8GB that can be expanded up to 128GB.

The Lumia 640 XL LTE runs on the Windows 8.1 OS, but it has been touted to receive the Windows 10 update earlier than other devices. People will have to wait till the end of 2015 when the company will release the Windows 10 OS for phones.

As per the camera of the device is concerned, it contains a 13-megapixel rear camera with Zeiss optics and front camera is of 5MP and clicks some good selfies. The Microsoft Lumia 640 XL is also big in battery department, possessing a 3120mAh battery.

With the new Lumia, Microsoft has offered an Airtel SIM packing a Double Data offer from the company.
