Motorola created history with the Moto G and it had tried to repeat the same magic with the Moto E. And, it has very well succeed to do because what it is offering in this price range is absolutely amazing. Lets take a look at the Moto E.

The Moto E offers a 4.3-inch display with QHD screen resolution, 1.2 GHz Dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB RAM, 5MP rear camera. It has good hardware, latest Android v4.4 Kitkat with a  promise of future Android updates and has a decent full-day battery life.

Coming to the performance of the device, the 1.2 GHz processor performs well. It is not on the strongest side but it is capable of running the phone smoothly and lag free. Also, considering the price of just 7,000 Rs. the performance is really well. The design of the phone is good and it has excellent build quality. When it comes to the camera of the phone, its average. The phone misses the front camera and LED Flash also, the rear camera is not very exciting.

The phone offers some additional benefits like the Water repellent nano coating which comes very handy as you don’t need to fear small water spills on the phone and it also offers Corning Gorilla Glass 3 so your phone is less prone to scratches. Moreover, the screen size of 4.3 inches can prove very handy for many users as many people find it difficult to manage large screen phones.

With the launches of better specifications phones like the Xiaomi 1S and the Android One phones, the Moto E is facing some tough and serious competition. But the device still remains a good choice for your parents or if you are buying your first smartphone. Also, if you don’t use camera much then the Moto E is still a very exciting phone.
