Nextbit Robin cloud based smartphone launched in India at Rs. 19,999

As expected, Nextbit has launched its cloud-first smartphone in India, dubbed as Nextbit Robin. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 19,999 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart starting from May 30th.

The Nextbit Robin can automatically back up photos and other data that haven’t been used recently to the cloud to free up space on the device. It also has four tiny lights on the back that let you know that the smartphone is syncing. It offers 32 GB of internal storage and 100 GB of online storage.

As for the other hardware specifications, it features a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 808  hexa-core processor, clubbed with Adreno 418 GPU and 3 GB RAM. The smartphone also bears a fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Robin sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone flash, PDAF, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is packed with a 2,680 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 and also offers connectivity options like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11a/b/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, USB Type-C Port. The Nextbit Robin comes in Mint color and measures 149mm x 72mm x 7mm.
