Samsung Galaxy J5 gets Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update in India

The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2015) has finally started receiving the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update in India. The smartphone was launched back in July last year with Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for Galaxy J5 is 874.11 MB in size, so we would recommend you to download it over a WiFi network. Along with features of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it also includes the new features of Android 6.0.1 like the Android security patch for May 2016 and a full suite of the latest emojis too.

The latest update has been released via OTA (over-the-air), still if you haven’t received the notification go into the Settings > About device > Software update menu and hit the Update now button to get it.
