ZTE Blade A2 with 13MP rear camera and fingerprint sensor launched

ZTE has announced a new smartphone, called as ZTE Blade A2, in China. The full metal unibody designed smartphone is now priced at 699 Yuan (approx. Rs. 7,100) and will go on sale from 15th June.

The ZTE Blade A2 features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor, coupled with Mali T860 GPU and 2 GB RAM. It offers 16 GB internal memory, expandable up to 128GB with microSD and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The Blade A2 houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and PDAF. It also bears a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. The smartphone includes a fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 2500mAh battery. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.

The ZTE Blade A2 measures 143.8 x 70.2 x 7.9mm and weighs 135 g. It will be available in Silver, Gray and Gold color variants. Recently, the company also announced the Axon 7 smartphone in China.
