Alcatel has announced its new budget smartphone, Alcatel Flash 2 at an event in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 9,299 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart from 27th October.
The Alcatel Flash 2 features a 5 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by 1.3 GHz octa core MediaTek MT\6753 processor with 64 bit architecture, paired with Mali-T720MP4 GPU and 2GB LPDDR3 RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage space, which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 128GB. On the software front, it boots Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The Flash 2 sports a 13 MP Samsung ISOCELL rear camera with phase detection autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, and a dual-tone dual-LED flash. On the front, it has 5 megapixel selfie snapper with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. The smartphone is packed with 3000mAh battery that can last 10 hours on 3G.
This dual SIM dual standby smartphone offers 4G support along with other connectivity options like Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS, micro USB port and FM radio. It measures 145.8 x 70.4 x 8.99 mm.
The Alcatel Flash 2 will be offered in Volcanic Grey and Mica White color options.
