Karbonn is back with another budget smartphone to compete with others present in the segment. After launching the Karbonn Aura 4G smartphone last year, the company has now launched the Karbonn Aura Power 4G Plus in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 5,790 and comes with a free protective cover. The device is available in Grey and Champagne color options.
The key specifications of Karbonn Aura Power 4G include, a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and a 1.325 GHz quad-core processor under the hood. The smartphone comes with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can further be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. On the software front the device is running on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Talking about the imaging department, the Aura Power 4G Plus sports a 5 MP rear camera with dual LED and a same 5 MP front camera with LED flash. The highlight of the smartphone is that it comes with a massive 4,000 mAh battery which is claimed to deliver a stand by time of upto 400 hours and talk time of up to 16 hours. The connectivity options of the smartphone include, dual sim support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio.
Karbonn, with the launch of Aura Power 4G Plus has made efforts to compete against other budget smartphones present in the market. Although it draws attention with its 5-inch HD-display, 4,000 mAh battery and 4G VoLTE support but stills lacks in the camera department and performance if compared to the Redmi 4A which is still ruling the segment. Also with the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi 4 smartphone, the competition gets even more tougher.
