Lava has pulled out another budget smartphone up its sleeves dubbed as ‘A77’. The Lava A77 is more of an entry level smartphone from the company and comes with base level specifications. The smartphone is listed at a price of Rs. 6,099 on the company’s website but is selling for as low as Rs. 4,999 in offline retail stores. The Lava A77 is available in Blue, Gold, and Grey colour variants.
The key specifications of Lava A77 include a 4.5-inches WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) display along with a 1.3 GHz Quad core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor under the hood. The smartphone comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Coming towards the optics department, the Lava A77 sports a 5 MP camera on the rear as well on the front. The smartphone is also equipped with LED flash on both, rear and front. It houses a 2,000 mAh Li-ion battery which is removable. The connectivity options of the device include Dual-sim support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio. Lava A77 measures 135 x 67.2 x 9.5 mm and weighs 160 grams.
Lava A77 doesn’t offer much if compared to other budget phones especially considering its listed price there are better options available. Earlier to this Lava launched its premium smartphone Z10 and Z25 which showed some well to do specs.
