Lenovo’s K3 Note & others to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow in September 2016!

Lenovo, the Chinese giant has revealed, via their Android update tracker the list of smartphones that will be injected with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The devices will receive Over-the-Air (OTA) update.

The smartphones eligible for the update are K3 Note, Vibe S1, Vibe P1, A7000 and A7000 Plus. The recently launched Vibe P1m running on Android 5.1 Lollipop is excluded from the update list.

Most important thing, the Android 6.0 update for K3 Note, A7000 and A7000 Plus will be available in September 2016 and for Vibe S1, Vibe P1 it will be available in June 2016, which is quite disappointing as Google is planning and preparing for the release of new revamped Android OS next year.

A day ago, Google unveiled that 0.3% devices are running on Android Marshmallow, followed by Android 5.0 Lollipop running on 25.6% devices, along with the details regarding the earlier version of Android OS.

If you are using a Lenovo smartphone present on the update list, then you may have to wait for 10 more months for having the new Android update on your device. Happy or annoyed do mention your emotion regarding the update in the comment section below.
