LG G5 SE with Snapdragon 652 SOC and 3GB RAM goes official in Russia

Looks like the rumors weren’t just rumors, as the lite variant of the LG G5, basically known as LG G5 SE goes official in Russia. The LG G5 SE was first spotted on Tenaa, last month.

The LG G5 SE is almost similar to its elder sibling LG G5 that was launched in MWC 2015. Nevertheless, being a lite variant has its own disadvantages, as it will be powered by Snapdragon 652 SoC with 3 GB RAM, while its original variant has Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4 GB RAM. Surprisingly, as per the listing in Russian site, the device supports 3G connectivity only, even though the Snapdragon 652 SoC comes with a 4G LTE modem. Hopefully, it will be released with 4G LTE in other regions.

Rest of the specifications of the LG G5 SE remains the same. Still to remind, it has 5.3 inch QHD display, 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, 32 GB internal storage (expandable up to 2TB), 2800mAh battery with Quick charge 3.0 and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. And yes, it will support all the LG G5 Friends like the original G5 does.

The LG G5 SE will be available in Gold, Pink and Titanium color variants. However, its Indian pricing or availability is not known yet.
