It’s only been four days since MWC’18 successfully culminated, with the event seeing the launch of many new devices in the market. Just within four days of the event getting over, LG has launched a new handset in the lower midrange segment, and it’s the all new LG X4. The smartphone which has only been introduced in the South Korean market for now, comes with a price tag of KRW 297,000 (roughly Rs. 17,800).
Talking about the specifications of the LG X4 smartphone, it comes with a 5.3-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display. For computing, the device makes use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, which is duly supported by a 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM and an internal storage of 16GB, which is further expandable up to 2 TB via microSD. For optics, the LG X4 has been equipped with an 8 MP camera on the rear with LED flash. And on the front, you can find a 5 MP sensor, which comes with selfie and video calling features. The LG X4 comes running on Android 7.1 Nougat, with a possibility of receiving Android Oreo update.
For connectivity, it is reliant upon Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, FM Radio, 3.5 mm audio jack, and Micro-USB. Other features of the smartphone include, finger touch feature of the phone allows users to take a screenshot or a selfie by tapping onto the fingerprint sensor at the rear. Like the previously launched LG X4+, the LG X4 also comes with an option of payments through LG Pay by using the fingerprint sensor or by entering your encrypted password.
As for the build of the phone, the LG X4 has dimensions of 148.6×75.1×8.6 mm and it weighs 164 gms. For power consumption, the LG X4 comes equipped with a 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery. The smartphone which has only been launched in South Korea will be available to consumers in Black and Gold colours.
