Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G launched at Rs. 7,999: Preoders started, will ship from 23rd April

Last month Motorola launched the Moto E (2nd Gen) 3G version in India and they promised to launch the 4G version soon. And here they are keeping up the promise. Motorola, the Lenovo owned company, launched the Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G LTE in India at a price of Rs. 7,999.

The phone is now listed on Flipkart and is available for preorders and will start shipping from 23rd of this month.

The launch of Moto E (2nd gen) 4G LTE variant is expected to affect the sales of the 3G variant as both have a minimal price difference of 1000 rupees. The new 4G variant will cost you 7,999 Rs in comparison to more cheap 3G variant which has a price tag of 6,999 Rs.

We will say that, it’s much better to spend a thousand more and buy the more powerful and 4G capabale version of the Moto E (2nd Gen).

This budget friendly 4G LTE variant of Moto E has a more powerful processor, other features are almost same like the 3G variant.

Motorola has used more featured chipset of Qualcomm with this variant, which has ARM Cortex-A53 as CPU, making it 64-bit capable and improving the performance.

Moto E (2nd gen) 4G LTE features a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm snapdragon 410 processor which gives you a power to perform almost all the normal tasks however; it’s not suitable for graphic oriented games.

It also packs a 4.5 qHD display and has slightly lower resolution of (540×960 pixel) with a pixel density of 245 ppi; it is still adequate for everyday tasks. The screen is protected with corning Gorilla Glass 3 which offers resistance against scratches.

Same as the 3G variant it sports a 1 GB RAM and has internal memory of 8GB which can be expanded via SD Card. 5 MP primary and 0.3 MP secondary camera are also onboard.

It runs on the latest, most famous and user-friendly mobile operating system Android lollipop.

Almost all the smartphones of Motorola family has a design resemblance, they have same rounded and curvy shape. It actually makes them very comfortable in holding with one hand; this phone also follows the trend of Moto family.

The phone will go on sale from 23 April onwards, and same date Xiaomi is going to launch their new MI smartphone.
