Motorola is all set to launch the Moto X Style in India after the release of Moto X Play last month. Both the Moto X Play and Moto X Style were announced together in July this year. Motorola, from the last few days has been teasing the launch of Moto X Style in India ‘very soon’ and now, Flipkart, their official online retail partner has listed a page which reveals the phone will launch on 8th of October. However, the page does not reveal any pricing & availability details.
When it comes to specs, the Moto X Style is powered by a Qualcomm Hexa-Core Snapdragon 808 chipset with 3GB of RAM. It sports a 5.7 inches Quad HD (1440×2560 pixels) display with Gorilla Glass 3. The phone runs on the latest Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) OS with Stock Android UI.
In the camera department, it comes with a 21 Megapixel rear camera with dual CCT flash and f/2.0 aperture having the capability of capturing videos at 4K resolution along with a 5-megapixel front camera containing an 87-degree wide-angle lens to snap some great group selfies.
Motorola has ensured the long-usage hours by providing the Moto X Style a 3000mAh built-in battery supporting the Turbo Charging capability. The smartphone is water-repellent with its Nano-coating unlike the Moto X Play (Read: Moto X Play Launched: How does it stand against the competition under 20000 Rs?) that lacked it. It comes with various connectivity options like 4G/LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS and NFC.
The Moto X Style will be available in three storage variants a 16GB version, 32GB version and 64GB version, all three containing the same 3GB RAM for functioning. The device’s memory can be expanded with the help of a microSD card.
The phone is expected to be priced around 26,000 Rs in India and now with the actual date to speak of, the curiosity among the people regarding Moto X Style has increased making them on their toes.
