OnePlus 3T, the company’s flagship device has been launched in a new Midnight Black color variant. The launch was being teased right from 21st March 9 pm as “Discover the true beauty of the dark“. The teaser also read “24 hours to go” followed by another tweet on 22nd March which read “10 hours to go” making it certain that the phone is likely to be launched on 22nd March around 9 pm. And that’s what happened, the smartphone has finally been launched in limited edition Midnight black color and will go on sale in India from 31 March 4 pm IST.

According to OnePlus, it took about a year and 30 different variations of colors to make the Midnight Black variant perfect. Company, in its forum post also mentioned “This limited edition of the OnePlus 3T is hewed out of the same space-grade aluminium that lent the original OnePlus 3 and 3T devices their class and durability. A dark coating of just 14 microns in thickness is meticulously applied to the surface of the phone, imbuing the device with a stunning black color built to last, while retaining the look and feel of naked metal.”
The smartphone, according to the company is ‘extremely limited’ so you might grab on to one as early as possible. The OnePlus 3T Midnight Black will be made available from 24th March 4 pm abroad. However, in India the sale will be starting from 31st March 4 pm IST and the phone will be available on company’s own store and with its exclusive online partner Amazon India. The phone will be available in 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant only and is likely to be priced at Rs. 34,999.
All the key features of the OnePlus 3T Midnight Black remain the same. To recollect, the OnePlus 3T was launched in India in the end of 2016. It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) Optic AMOLED display. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor along with 6GB RAM. The OnePlus 3T is equipped with 16 MP both front and rear cameras with auto-focus. It holds a 3,400 mAh battery with all the important sensors and connectivity options. The company also praises its Dash charge feature which allows the device to power-up quickly.
