Oppo F3 Plus with dual front camera launched in India at Rs. 30,990

Oppo has launched its new selfie focused smartphone, the Oppo F3 Plus in India today. The phone is lunched with Oppo’s favourite ‘Selfie Expert’ tag, highlighting its massive selfie taking abilities by virtue of its dual front camera setup. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 30,990 and will be available for sale from 1st April both online and offline. The pre-orders have started today itself.

The Oppo F3 Plus comes with a 6-inch Full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) 2.5D curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, it has a 1.95 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor along with the Adreno 510 GPU and 4 GB RAM. The Oppo F3 Plus holds an internal storage of 64 GB which can be extended up to 256 GB via MicroSD card. Thankfully, it comes with triple-slot tray which allows you to use two sim cards and a microSD card at the same time. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based ColorOS 3.0.

The highlight and the USP of the Oppo F3 Plus is its amazing front camera, around which the entire launch event revolved. The Oppo F3 Plus contains a feature packed Dual camera set-up in the front. One amongst the duo is a 16 MP f/2.0 aperture 1/3.1-inch sensor and another is an 8-megapixel sensor. The dual camera setup is combination of 76.4 degree wide angle lens and a 120 degree wide angle lens combining to provide a wide 105 degree field-of-view for group selfies. User can choose between both the lenses according to their convenience however, as per Oppo the smart face recognition feature automatically suggests which lens to choose. Apart from all this, the smartphone comes with a number of other features like Beautify 4.0 app, Selfie Panorama, Screen Flash, and Palm Shutter.

The rear camera includes a 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 sensor with 1.4-micron pixels, dual-PDAF, f/1.7 aperture, and dual-LED flash. The Oppo F3 Plus has a fingerprint sensor in the home button itself, with response time of as quick as 0.2 seconds. The fingerprint can also be used to protect all the apps in the phone using company’s own app.

For connectivity, the F3 Plus has Dual-sim support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG support and 3.5 mm audio jack. The on-board sensors include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The smartphone holds a 4000 mAh battery with VOOC flash charge technology that is claimed to deliver 2 hours of talk-time in just 5 mins of charge. The Oppo F3 Plus measures 163.63 x 80.8 x 7.35 mm with 185 grams of weight. It is available in Black and Gold color variants.
