Oppo has listed a new ultra-slim smartphone Oppo R5s on their European website, it comes with a thickness of just 4.85 mm and is an upgrade to the popular Oppo R5 . The phone will be launched on August 25 and will bear a price tag of EUR 199 (around Rs 15,000).
Oppo R5s has kept the size and dimensions same as of its predecessor R5, but the upgraded version has more powerful specifications.
The Oppo R5s sports a 5.2 inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display with pixel density at 424 ppi. It is powered by 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core SoC and an Adreno 405 GPU paired with 3 GB of RAM. Unlike R5’s 8 GB of internal memory, Oppo has doubled the internal storage with 16 GB but, still no expansion slot for memory card.
On the came front, it is no different from its predecessor, it still features a 13 megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and capability to record a 4K videos. It also equips a 5 megapixel front snapper with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone is packed with a 2000mAh battery with FastCharge feature.
The smartphone runs on ColorOS UI based on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat.
Oppo R5s still remains one of the slimmest phones out there with thickness of 4.85 mm. The R5s will be available in Grey color only and is expected to on sale from August 25 in Europe.
