Oppo has launched a new smartphone from its R series, dubbed as the Oppo R7s, during GITEX 2015 event in Dubai. It will release this month in Australia and some markets in Asia along with Middle East and North Africa Region. And consumers from USA and Europe will get their hands on the device in December.
The Oppo R7s flaunts a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Under the hood, it has 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa core SoC, clubbed with Adreno 405 GPU and 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 32 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card cum second Sim slot. It runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 based ColorOS 2.1 running on top.
Coming onto the camera, it sports a 13 megapixel rear Sony IMX214 sensor with LED flash and Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), that takes 0.1 second to focus. It also has an 8 megapixel of front camera with f/2.4 aperture for selfie lovers. It is packed with a 3070mAh battery with Flash Charging that will charge the phone up to 90% in just 50 minutes.
The Oppo R7s features connectivity options like 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG. It measures 151.8×75.4×6.95 mm and weighs around 155 g.
However, the price of Oppo R7s has not been revealed yet. It will be available in Golden and Silver color variants.
