Samsung India has added another smartphone in the Galaxy A series, dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro which is an upgraded version of the Galaxy A9. This smartphone was earlier launched in China six months ago and has now hit the Indian market at a price tag of Rs. 32,490. It will be made available in India from September 26 in Black, Gold, and White colour variants.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro is a big 6-inch smartphone featuring Full HD (1920x 1080 pixels) Super-AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Look-wise it shares similarity with the flagship smartphone Galaxy S7 while the rear camera setup is identical with Galaxy S6. It comes with all Glass and Metal body design.
On the performance front, it is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor paired with 4 GB of RAM. It has 32 GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card up to 256 GB. The camera department hosts a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash having f/1.9 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an 8-megapixel front shooter for Selfie lovers.
It is a Dual-sim 4G LTE smartphone running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The front home button serves as Fingerprint Scanner. The Galaxy A9 Pro is backed by bigger 5000 mAh battery as compared to its predecessor’s 4000 mAh. This huge battery also supports Fast-charging feature which charges the battery from 0 to 100% in 160 minutes and up to 32% in just 30 minutes.
