Samsung has launched its new smartphone in the ‘C’ series, the Galaxy C5 Pro in China. Samsung announced the Galaxy C7 Pro earlier this year and now is up with the smaller Galaxy C5 Pro. It is available for pre-orders on Samsung’s China website, the company will begin shipping the phone from 16th march. It is priced at 2,499 yuan which translates to US$ 360 (Rs. 24,100 approx). The phone is available in Gold, Blue and Rose Gold colors.
The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro is much similar to the Galaxy C7 Pro and could be called as the smaller version of it. The smartphone bears a 5.2 inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 626 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Galaxy C5 Pro comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage which can be further expanded up-to 256 GB via micro SD card. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 + 5GHz ), Bluetooth v 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C.
It contains a 16MP camera with f/1.9 aperture on both front and rear, and comes with dual tone LED flash on the rear. The Galaxy C5 Pro comes with an attractive unibody metal design and measures 145.7 x 71.4 x 7mm. The speaker grill, USB-port and 3.5 mm audio-jack all are situated at bottom edge with the volume and power button on right edge. The phone has a battery of 2600 mAh which is claimed to last for about 296 hours of stand-by time.
The Galaxy C5 Pro holds all the regular sensors such as fingerprint sensor which is situated under the physical home button, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, magnetometer and the RGB light sensor.
