Videocon Krypton 22 with 2 GB RAM, Nougat 7.0, IR blaster and VoWiFi launched at Rs. 7200

Videocon has launched another budget friendly smartphone, the Krypton 22 in India. The highlight of the smartphone is that, it comes with support for VoLTE and VoWifi along with the inclusion of IR blaster. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 7,200 and in-spite of being an entry level smartphone, it contains well to do specifications.

The Krypton 22 comes with a 5 inch HD IPS LCD display and has got a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor under the hood. The smartphone comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can further be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

For imaging, the smartphone has got an 8 MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and a 5 MP front camera also with a LED flash. For connectivity, the smartphone has got 4G VoLTE, VoWifi, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and GPS support. There is also an IR blaster embeded into the device which will convert it into a remote controller for TV, air-conditioner and other IR based appliances.

The Videocon Krypton 22 also boasts SOS hardware button which alerts a particular list of selected people when pressed during an emergency. The smartphone also comes with one year subscription for EROS now and Gameloft games.
