Xiaomi has finally unveiled it much-talked Mi VR Headset in China. Although the company hasn’t announced its price yet, it is available for beta testers for CNY 1 if they are selected after registration.
The Mi VR Headset features a zipper design that makes it simple to insert and remove a smartphone into the headset and also ensures the phone does not fall out of the headset. It is made out of a combination of EVA and Lycra to prevent discomfort when using the headset for an extended duration of time. It also has a standalone app that lets users view 360-degree content and play VR games designed for the headset.
The Mi VR headset measures 201 x 107 x 91mm and weighs 208.7 grams. It can fit phones from 4.7 to 5.7 inches in size. It will also come in several options with personalized colors, including graffiti and decorative design. The VR headset is rumored to be priced at 49 yuan (approx. Rs. 490).
