Xiaomi, today announced the launch of its Mi Bluetooth Headset in India. The device is priced at Rs. 899 and is up for pre-orders, which will be shipped within a period of 5 days from the time of pre-order as stated on the company’s website. The headset is only available in Premium Black color.
The Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth Headset holds two volume buttons placed on the right side with the microphone down under. The volume rockers can be used for adjusting volume during calls and while listening to music. It also allows the users to accept or end phone calls, reject calls, redial phone numbers, transfer calls, make three-way calls, play or pause music, play next/previous songs.
The Mi Bluetooth Headset supports Bluetooth 4.1, which as per the company will reduce 4G network interference and will in turn improve device compatibility, stability and functionality across the board. The Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth headset provides 3-4 hours of battery life with regular usage and 100 hours in standby mode, as per the company. The headset interestingly is capable of pairing with two devices simultaneously.
Xiaomi, on its website describing the Headset says, “To optimise sound quality for calls and music, we kept the speaker output structure at a narrow 3mm, so that detail in the mid and high frequencies are preserved and noise is significantly reduced.”
The Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth Headset comes with a rounded sound cavity, a magnetised moving coil speaker, a noise-cancelling silicone microphone and a ceramic antenna. The device also comes with nano-coating technology, making it water and sweat resistant. The headset comes bundled with silicon earbuds in three different sizes, making it comfortable for every user.
