Xiaomi Mi Note Pro : A High-End Phablet Set to Hit China on May 12

Xiaomi Mi Note and Xiaomi Mi Note Pro were announced back in January, out of which Xiaomi Mi Note went on sale shortly, but Xiaomi Mi Note Pro was yet to hit the smartphone market. Today, Xiaomi Finally revealed the launch of this high-end phablet, which is set to hit China on May 12.

The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro is available for pre-order from Today ‘6th May’ and it will go on sale through the company’s online Mi.com portal as well as through the company’s dozen retail stores known as Mi Home. This high-end phablet from Xiaomi has been priced at CNY 2,999 (approx. Rs. 31,000). However, it is available in China only as of now.

The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro is a Dual-Sim feature packed phablet with a beautiful design. This phablet has a 3D curved glass on the back and 2.5D curved glass on front, which makes it look classy. The Mi Note Pro has a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with a QHD resolution (1440 x 2560 pixels) that brings out a great pixel density of 515 PPI. This phablet is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Octa-core processor (four Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 2 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz). The powerful processor is coupled with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and Adreno 430 GPU, which is well sufficient to express the performance of this phablet.

Coming to other features, the Mi Note Pro houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with a six-element lens, OIS, a Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor, Qualcomm 14-bit image processor and two-tone LED flash from Philips and a 4-megapixel front-camera with large 2-micron pixels. So, the camera department is a rejoice for photographers. On the memory part, it boasts 64 GB of in-built memory with no expandability options.

Xiaomi Mi Note Pro runs on  MIUI 6.0 skin on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The phablet is backed by a 3090 mAh battery which gives a good backup time. With Quick Charge 2.0 technology, you can charge 70 percent battery in just an hour.

The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro looks a prominent phablet equipped with many amazing features. Its arrival in the Indian Smartphone market will be awaited by many.

On a different note, the company also unveiled a 150-gram Mi Selfie Stick, which is priced at CNY 49 (approx. Rs. 500).
