Xiaomi Redmi Note (Rs 8,999) will be Launched on 2nd Dec; Preorders Started

Xiaomi arrived in India recently with Xiaomi Mi 3 and Redmi 1S smartphones, that attracted much of the smartphone market. The popularity of the Xiaomi phones is remarkable. Good specifications and the low price played a vital factor in its success.

After the success of both the phones Mi 3 and Redmi 1S, Xiaomi is ready with its new launch in the Indian market. The new product launching is Redmi Note which is available in two variants- Redmi Note 3G priced @ Rs 8,999 and Redmi Note 4G priced @ Rs 9,999.

Redmi Note 2

Xiaomi is again following the falsh sale pattern for the Redmi Note, so if you wish to buy the device first you have to register at flipkart for redmi note 3G variant and for redmi note 4G variant at www.airtel.in/mi. The phone will be launched in India on 2nd Dec, 2014. The registration is already started from 25th November 2014 and the registration window will be open till 1st Dec midnight. The phone offers features better than its price. It has a wide 5.50-inch display which gives a wider aspect ratio, 13 Mp Rear and 5 Mp Front camera with rear flash. The  3100 mAh powerful battery gives a good battery backup.

There are some differences in the Redmi Note 3G and 4G variants. The main difference is in the processor, Redmi Note has 8-Core MTK  1.7 GHz while the Redmi Note 4G has Quad-core 1.6 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor which supports LTE. Also the Android versions are different in both the variants, Redmi Note 3G has android 4.3 OS while the Redmi Note 4G has android 4.4 OS. Both are deprived of the updated Lollipop OS.

Both the variants have 2GB RAM so you can get assured to get good lag free performance from the device. Overall, the Xiaomi Redmi Note is a good deal which comes at just Rs. 8,999 and offers decent features and specs.

The earlier two launches from Xiaomi were massive hits and the same is expected with the Redmi Note. It will be interesting to see how many seconds it takes for the Redmi Note to go out of stock.
