ZTE Nubia Z17 Mini with 13MP dual-rear cameras, 16MP front camera & Snapdragon 652 launched at Rs. 19,999

ZTE sub-brand Nubia has launched its Z17 Mini smartphone today in India. The Nubia Z17 Mini was first launched in its home country China in April. The smartphone comes with some worthy specifications considering the price tag that it is bearing. The Nubia Z17 Mini is priced at Rs. 19,999 and will be available for sale exclusively via Amazon.in starting 12 June, from 12 pm onwards in Black Gold colour. The pre-orders for the smartphone begins from today at nubiaz17mini.com.

Taking about the key specifications, the smartphone sports a 5.2-inch Full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixel) display with Gorilla Glass protection on top. Nubia Z17 mini is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with Adreno 510 GPU. The smartphone comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage which can be further expanded upto 200 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based nubia UI 4.0.

Coming down to the optics department which is the major highlight of smartphone, it includes a dual rear camera setup at the rear with 13 MP sensors each. One out of the two sensors is Monochrome and another is a RGB sensor. The rear cameras come with f/2.2 aperture, NeoVision 6.0 and protected by Sapphire Glass. On the front, there is a 16 MP camera with 80-degree wide angle, 5P lens, and f/2.0 aperture. As per the company, “the camera offers 16 different modes other than pro and normal modes. The dual rear camera combines multi-view and dynamic features to create an interactive 3D motion picture.”

The connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 /b/g/n/ac dual band (5GHz + 2.4GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS and USB Type-C port. Nubia Z17 Mini packs a 2,950 mAh which is claimed to keep the smartphone running for around two days and also has fast charging support. The smartphone holds a metal uni-body with a fingerprint sensor embedded at the rear. The device measures 146.65 × 72.5 × 7.45 mm and weighs 155 grams.
