Samsung Galaxy Grand Max Unveiled in South Korea

Samsung has launched it’s another mid-range smartphone named – “Galaxy Grand Max” in South Korean Market. This smartphone was spotted late last month and here we are with its official release.

The Galaxy Grand Max has been listed online on the company’s official website for Korea. The Phone will go on sale from 9th January 2015 with a price tag of $290 (Rs. 21,200 Approximately) in South Korea.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Max features a 5.25-inch HD TFT display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1.5 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 64 GB via micro-SD card. It packs a 2500 mAh battery.

The 7.9 mm thick Galaxy Grand Max brings in a new quilted pattern on the back panel which is the highlighted feature. It sports a 13 MP rear camera with CMOS sensor and LED flash along with a 5 MP front-facing wide-angle selfie camera. The single SIM device runs Android 4.4 Kitkat and might be upgradable to 5.0 Lollipop. It supports 4G LTE and weighs 161 grams.

However, there are no official words from the company regarding its launch in markets outside of South Korea. The Smartphone is currently available in South Korean markets only. Meanwhile, we can hope that it will be available in Indian markets soon. Though we will keep you updated with any news regarding its launch in India.

Samsung recently launched two mid-range devices in India: the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 at a price tag of Rs. 20,500 and Rs. 25,500 respectively.
