Google launched its flagship smartphones – Google Pixel and Pixel XL on 4th October at the big Google Pixel event in San Francisco. As scheduled, the smartphones are now available for pre-order on Flipkart starting from today.
Google Pixel and Pixel XL comes in two storage variants and two colors for India. As of now, only three models are available for pre-order in quite black colour. The 32 GB variant of Google Pixel which costs Rs. 57,000, 128 GB variant which costs Rs. 66,000 and the 128 GB variant of Google Pixel XL which costs Rs. 76,000.
Flipkart is offering some launch offers on these Google smartphones. Interested customers can buy these smartphones with no Cost EMI starting from lowest Rs. 3,167 per month for a period of 18 months, one can avail up to Rs. 27,000 off on exchange offers and free EGVs worth 10% of the cost of phone, which is valid for first 1000 customers only till 24th October.
To recall, the Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones sport an aluminium unibody and also feature polished glass combination at the back. Both phones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, with two cores clocked at 1.6 GHz and two cores clocked at 2.15 GHz. Both packs 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM, Pixel Imprint fingerprint sensor, a 12.3-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Both comes in two storage variants 32 GB and 128 GB with no memory card slot.
The Google Pixel has 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display, while the Google Pixel XL has a 5.5-inch Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) AMOLED display, both with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection The Google Pixel is backed by a 2770 mAh battery and the Pixel XL is backed by a bigger 3450 mAh battery, both with fast-charging support.
Both the smartphones support Google’s Daydream VR headset, run on Android 7.1 Nougat and come with USB Type-C and include the 3.5 mm audio jack as well.
The 32 GB variant of Google Pixel XL and the very silver models of Google Pixel and Pixel XL will also be available for pre-order on Flipkart soon. Stay tuned for more updates!
