Intex Technologies has launched another new smartphone, known as Intex Aqua Classic. The entry-level smartphone is priced at Rs. 4,444 and will be available via offline retailers.
The Intex Aqua Classic features a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display with a pixel density of 196 ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731C processor paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
The Aqua Classic sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 2100mAh battery with up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 210 hours of standby time and offers connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and Micro-USB.
The Intex Aqua Classic measures 145.5 x 72.6 x 9.3mm and weighs around 160 g. A week ago, the company also launched the Aqua Sense 5.1 smartphone at Rs. 3,999.
