There have been a few leaks here and there about the upcoming smartphones from Motorola but now, there’s a big leak which reveals the entire line-up of smartphones that the company is planning to bring in this year. As per the leaks, Motorola is set to bring nine new smartphones within 5 different series.
Well known tipster Evan Blass has shared press shots through a tweet which reveals the entire list of smartphones under different series. From the image, it can be clearly seen that, there are five different series namely the Moto Z, Moto X, Moto G, Moto E and Moto C. Each of the series contains two smartphones under it except the Moto X series, under which the company is planning to launch a single device.
Let’s take a look at the upcoming smartphones in different series one by one:
As per the leaks, the two smartphones under the Z series are the Moto Z Play and the Moto Z Force. The Moto Z Play appears to be sporting a 5.5 inches Full HD display and the Moto Z Force will bear a ‘Shatter Shield’ screen along with 1 GB LTE support. Both the smartphones will come with Moto Mods support which is additional gear from Motorola that was introduced last year.
Next in the list is the smartphone under X series which is being called as Moto X 2017 and is highly speculated to be the Moto X4. The Moto X4 looks to be coming with a 5.2 inches Full HD display along with a 3D screen on top. The image also reveals the inclusion of ‘SmartCam’ in the smartphone, however the exact capabilities of this ‘SmartCam’ is still unkown.
The Moto G series which has been quite popular lately with its budget smartphones has yet another couple of smartphones i.e the Moto GS and Moto GS+ lined up for this year. The Moto GS is speculated to sport a 5.2-inches Full-HD display with metal body where as the Moto GS+ will hold a 5.5 inches Full HD display along with a Dual camera setup.
Coming towards the Moto E series, the two smartphones could be the Moto E4 and E4 Plus, the details of which have been leaked previously. The image here shows that the Moto E (2017) will sport a 5-inches HD display with 2.5D curved glass where as the Moto E Plus sports a 5.5 inches HD display with a mammoth 5,000 mAh battery which resembles to that of the rumours surfed earlier.
Finally, the ‘C’ series which is a new addition to the Moto family. If previous leaks are to be considered, the Moto C and C Plus smartphones will be the cheapest Motorola smartphones ever. Looking at the image, the Moto C appears to sport a 5-inch FWVGA display and the C Plus could come with a 5-inch HD screen with 4,000 mAh battery which again is similar to the previous leaks.
