Samsung is all geared up to bring in the 2017 iteration of its Galaxy J5 smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) has been prone to a lot of leaks and rumours until now and was highly expected to be launching soon. With all the buzz going around there are a couple of another leaks which includes the smartphone being already up for sale online, and possibility that the smartphone could be announced today itself.
As per the leaks, the smartphone was listed for pre-orders in Germany with different retailers, with the shipping details varying, staring from the month of June. Also, tipster Roland Quandt recently through a tweet revealed that the smartphone is already listen for sale on Amazon France with price tag of 279 Euros which is roughly Rs. 19,800. The tweet also noted an expected release date of 5th June, which is today.

The design of the smartphone resembles to the press renders leaked earlier. Interestingly, the online listing also shows the entire specifications of the smartphone which are similar to the ones leaked previously. As per the listing, the Galaxy J5 (2017) will sport a 5.2-inch HD AMOLED display. The smartphone is said to be powered by an octa-core Exynos chipset along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The device will be running on Android Nougat out-of-the-box. In the imaging department, we could be looking at a 13 MP camera on the front as well as back. The smartphone also has a LED flash coupled with both, front and rear cameras. The smartphone has an all metal built type and packs a 3,000 mAh battery for its powering.
With this being said, all the details revealed still come as speculations and nothing can be confirmed until the company makes it official. Also, the links in a tweet no longer appear to be active hence, it is still not certain whether the smartphone will be announced today.
